The Wow Factor

May 4, 2022

Danny Ludeman previously served as CEO of Wells Fargo Advisors, where he increased revenue from $300 million to $10 billion during his tenure. Upon retirement, he followed a spiritual calling to serve others, leading to the founding of Concordance. Danny remains active in industry and civic affairs, serving on several local boards. He also attends Covenant Seminary, where he is pursuing a divinity degree.

This week on the podcast Danny shares why he decided to pursue an opportunity outside the financial sector when he retired. He tells us what led him to the important work that Concordance does to reduce the reincarceration rate among participants released from prison in St. Louis. We also discuss why individuals that have been previously incarcerated, re-offend. As well as why it’s so critical to research the root causes and put effective programs in place to help people heal, and make a success of the rest of their lives.

“The ripple effect of the impact that Concordance can have is extraordinary.” - Danny Ludeman

“It has to start with looking at the external environment objectively, and not seeing how the world looks or how you want the world to look, but how the world actually operates.” - Danny Ludeman
